Keeping the house clean is a good habit that everyone should have for a healthy life and a standard lifestyle. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a cleanliness campaign called “Swachh Bharat” or ” Swachh Bharat Abhiyan “. We should understand that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of our Prime Minister, but it is the responsibility of every person living on this earth.

We should actively participate in this campaign for the healthy life of all of us. In order to bring about a clean India revolution across India, house cleaning initiatives should be taken at home, school, college, society, community, office, organization and country level. We need to clean ourselves, home, surrounding areas, society, community, city, garden and environment on a daily basis.

There are many different reasons as to why we need to keep our surroundings clean. Firstly, a clean school is a healthy school. Hygiene is one of the basic requirements to maintain a good health and prevent any illness. Secondly, a dirty or badly maintained place is devoid of any aesthetic value. It promotes a bad impression in front of the people and also brings down the reputation of the school. Thirdly, it is expected from us to keep the premises of the school clean because we are the people who remain in the same premises. Also, it is our duty as students to keep the premises clean.

Keeping hospitals clean is a crucial patient safety issue. The importance of the hospital environment in patient care has only recently been recognized widely in infection prevention and control (IPC). In order to create a movement for change, a group of international infection control experts teamed up with Interclean, the largest cleaning trade-show in the world to create the Healthcare Cleaning Forum. This paper is the result of this conference, which featured leaders in healthcare environmental science from across Europe.

Although the available literature is limited, there is now enough evidence to demonstrate that maintaining the hygiene of the hospital environment helps prevent infections. Still, good interventional studies are rare, the quality of products and methods available is heterogeneous, and environmental hygiene personnel is often relatively untrained, unmotivated, under-paid, and under-appreciated by other actors in the hospital. Coupled with understaffed environmental hygiene service departments, this creates lasting issues in regards to patient and healthcare worker safety.

Toilets are essential to all of us in our daily lives.  Going to the toilets is what every one has to do and does every day at least once or twice.  There is nothing to feel bad about this activity or the toilets, however some people feel shy or dislike talking about them. Long ago toilets were very far from the living part of houses.  Nowadays, toilets are attached to bedrooms and living rooms.  Their proximity in the house make it important to clean it as good as we cleaning the kitchen. Keeping toilets clean is very important.  If the toilets are not clean, it becomes a breeding place for insects, and harmful germs.  These spread and can come inside the house.  They can bite the people and can cause viruses.  Further, the foul smell for the toilets is suffocating.  It is not good for health.
